2020 Middle District of Louisiana African-American History Celebration - Thursday, February 27th, 1:00 p.m.

25th ANNUAL FEDERAL COURTHOUSE AFRICAN-AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH PROGRAM - FEBRUARY 27, 2020
 
Chief Judge Shelly D. Dick, Judge Brian A. Jackson, and Judge John W. deGravelles, of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, Judge Douglas D. Dodd, of the United States Bankruptcy Court, and the agencies of the federal courthouse will host the Twenty-Fifth Annual Federal Courthouse African-American History Month Program at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020, in Courtroom 1, located on the third floor of the federal courthouse.
 
The featured guest speaker will be Mr. Verge Ausberry, Executive Deputy Director of Athletics and Executive Director of External Relations for Louisiana State University. Mr. Ausberry will share his interesting perspective regarding the Tiger Nation’s recent National Championship and its impact on academics and athletics.
 
Musical entertainment will be provided by Mr. Lawrence Hebert and the “Southern University Jazzy Jags.”
